Edinburgh University is currently ranked as the number one institution in the UK for Sports degrees. - SQA Highers: ABBB by end of S5 or ABBBB/AABB from S4-S6
- National 5: English and Mathematics at Grade C
- A Levels: ABB
- GCSEs: English and Mathematics at grade C
- IB: Award of Diploma with 34 points overall and grades 655 in HL subjects
- SL: English and Mathematics at 4
Loughborough has historically been hailed as one of the best sporting universities in the UK and its reputation continues to uphold itself. Over 98% of Loughborough’s sports graduates are in work within 6 months of completing their studies which is a staggering number and reassuring for budding sports management superstars. - A-Level: ABB Science A
- SQA AHAB, plus Highers: majority A/B grades
- IB: 34 points with 655 at HL including at least 5 in English and 5 in Maths
University of Bath
Ranked 3rd in the UK for graduate prospects, hopeful students who desire a degree place at the University of Bath should rest assured that they would be faced with some of the best graduate prospects in the country job-wise. Another university with a great reputation for sporting success, Bath can currently count 4 University of Bath swimmers as part of Team GB’s swimming squad for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

- IB: 36 points with 6,6,5 in three Higher Level subjects

University of Exeter
The University of Exeter is known for having one of the best sports research facilities in the UK, making this institution a great place for a formal education in sport. Named as The Times and The Sunday Times Sports University of the Year 2016, in recognition of excellence in sports performance, education and research, the University of Exeter is currently acknowledged by many as the best in the country for both their academia and athletic achievement across the entire sporting spectrum. Exeter are interested in giving their sports undergraduates the best possible chance of employment offering a number of options to sports graduates dependent upon which path they wish to tread post-graduation. This includes modules in leadership and business (run by the Business School), law for non-lawyers (delivered by the Law School), physical education and employability/career development.

University of Birmingham
The University of Birmingham was the first university in the UK to offer a sports degree, setting off what can only be described as trend for other universities to follow suit and offer equally competitive education in sport. The courses offered at Birmingham for sport are very scientifically charged and would hugely suit a student who is interested in physical aspects of sport and the human body.
