Profile:

The Match Operations Coordinator assists with the administration and organisation of the European Women’s Under-19 and Women’s Under-17 Championships, the UEFA Women’s Champions League and the European Women’s Championship. The position also entails proposing delegate appointments for these UEFA competition matches and providing administrative and other support to delegates for all competitions.
Purpose:

Assisting with the administration and organisation of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA European Women’s Championship, the FWWC, the UEFA European Women’s Under-19 Championship, the UEFA European Women’s Under-17 Championship, the FWU19 and the FWU17:
– Performing administrative tasks: drafting draw-related letters, providing venue and fixture information, entering matches and MT in the football administration and management tool (FAME);
– Monitoring the preparation of assigned competitions:- checking that information is received on time,
– checking that venue facilities and organisational arrangements are of the required standards,
– monitoring issues that could affect the match organisation and taking  appropriate action,
– providing information to UEFA match officers.
– Serving as the main contact/information point for the teams and match delegates;
– Providing support to national associations/ UEFA Women’s Champions League clubs as required;
– Reviewing mini-tournament reports after each round in order to:
– identify any necessary follow-up actions and improvements,
– provide summary reports and recommendations to the competition managers and match operations management,
– maintaining the stadium “black list” to prevent future usage or issues in   future competitions.
– Assisting with the organisation of youth or women final tournaments as required, including on-site support;
– Managing playing kits for the later stages and final tournaments of women’s competitions.

Assisting with match delegate appointments and administration:
– Proposing delegate appointments for assigned competitions to the Match Operations Manager at least four weeks before matches or mini-tournaments;
– Dealing with delegate appointment emails and travel proposals and answering delegates’ questions;
– Keeping the various forms and reports used by delegates appointed for these competitions up to date and uploading them in FAME;
– Managing the delegate travel mailbox: filing all delegate travel schedules for all UEFA competitions and updating the deployment days of each delegate’s mission in FAME;
– Dealing with all delegate refund forms submitted via FAME.

In addition:
– Acting as matchnight support and operating the on-call service for all competitions as required
– Providing support to colleagues in the administration of the assigned competitions as required

Requirements:

Experience required:
– from 1 to 3 years / in an international environment

Education:
– Degree level
