Passion. Purpose. Pride. These three words epitomise what it means to be an employee of UEFA, the governing body of European football and the organiser of some of the most iconic events in world sport.

GlobalSportsJobs has teamed up with UEFA to launch UEFA People, an innovative digital campaign aimed at giving professionals a series of unique and fascinating insights into work at a major sporting organisation, a chance to explore the multiple roles and skills required to successfully stage a large-scale event, and an understanding of the importance of transferable skills across different industries and sectors.

Over the next few months, UEFA People will provide a range of online content direct from the UEFA Champions League final, UEFA EURO 2016 and the UEFA Super Cup centred around people working on those competitions. This will include personalised ‘day in the life’ and ‘my role’ features, inspirational videos and infographics, previously unseen footage, articles and statistics.

“I am really excited about bringing the UEFA People project to life. This will give unique insight into what it’s like to work at UEFA through the eyes of our own staff,” says Jason Evans, a senior HR manager at UEFA. “We will share their special moments and precious experiences, going behind the scenes to show how our staff work to bring these great competitions together for football fans around the world.”

During the campaign, registered users of GlobalSportsJobs will be able to take part in a series of competitions with the chance of winning an exclusive on-the-job experience at UEFA EURO 2016 and seeing just what it is like to be involved in the organisation and management of a major sports event.
