EURO 2016 and the UEFA Champions League are the most high-profile events in UEFA’s portfolio but they are just the tip of the iceberg.

UEFA stages events every year, throughout the year, from youth tournaments to women’s events for every age group to the flagship competitions for Europe’s elite teams and countries.

Each event comes with its own challenges not least that they can be staged in any of UEFA’s 54 member countries. Many – such as EURO – take years in the planning and are huge logistical projects while others can involve a handful of teams and players. But the work doesn’t stop when the event kicks off and need coordinating throughout the duration.
